Toronto, Ontario – April 5th, 2022 – An emerging leader in-home cannabis cultivation Reefertilizer Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received a product listing and initial purchase order from the Ontario Cannabis Store.
All Ontario cannabis retailers must purchase their inventory through the OCS and grow kits will be available online at OCS.ca.
The Ontario Cannabis Store is the largest distributor of cannabis products in Canada. In addition to flower, concentrates, edibles, and seeds the OCS will be providing more options for home cultivation including the Reefertilizer weed grow kit.
All Ontario cannabis retailers must purchase their inventory through the OCS and grow kits will be available online at OCS.ca and reefertilizer.com.
The Reefertilizer grow kit will be the only nutrient kit available through the OCS and contain all that is needed to feed cannabis plants from seed to flower. Each kit contains three dry nutrients for the different stages of cannabis growth. The kits will also include detailed instructions on how to grow high-quality cannabis at home.
The three Reefertilizer products included in the marijuana growing kit are Reefertilizer Start, an organic kelp meal with mycorrhizal spores to help build a healthy soil and root zone; Reefertilizer Grow a powder nutrient blend for cannabis in the veg phase of growth; and Reefertilizer Bloom, an all-in-one nutrient blend for flowering cannabis plants. Users will have to purchase cannabis seeds through the OCS and affiliated stores.
Most Canadians are allowed to grow up to 4 per household with the only exceptions of Manitoba and Quebec where home cultivation of non-medical cannabis is restricted. Cannabis plants must be grown in a space that is not visible to the public, such as a backyard or balcony not visible from the street.
The amount of cannabis harvested from one plant can be up to a pound or the equivalent of $4500 to $9000 of retail cannabis flower. Cannabis can be easily grown, harvested, and prepared at home with little risk of product contamination or property damage when using basic cultivation gear like grow tents.
Since cannabis was legalized in Canada on October 17, 2018; Reefertilizer has been providing guidance on home cannabis cultivation.
