— Explain the various dosage forms of marijuana and their pharmacodynamic impact.
— Evaluate the potential therapeutic and adverse effects of marijuana.
— Identify potential drug interactions and consumer safety issues with marijuana use.
The course is offered free of charge to pharmacists. After tonight’s live webinar, the course will be available as a home study for the next 2-years.
“We are pleased to be able to sponsor this educational seminar,” stated Dr. Bruce Bedrick, CEO of Medbox, Inc. “As the industry’s leading advocate of compliance, transparency, and efficacy, we applaud this opportunity for pharmacists to gain valuable information about the pharmacology of marijuana.”
In other news, Medbox announced that they were pleased to be a question on the popular television program, “Jeopardy.” On the Monday night program (December 16, 2013), the “question” asked: “The Medbox Co. has created a machine that dispenses this plant for medicinal purposes & brownies too!”
“We are very proud of the fact that we were featured as a question on Jeopardy,” Bedrick exclaimed. “I have always loved this program, and being a part of it means that we’ve become a part of the American Lexicon,” he added. “I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
