MAV acquired Phoenician Engineering for its manufacturing and engineering expertise, and Hempioneers for direct to consumer e-commerce capabilities. Plant and soil science biologist Justin Cifelli, along with the aerospace engineering talent Dane Dukat and manufacturing operations expert Colton Dukat introduced the “Phoenician” grinder at an October cannabis industry trade show in Denver. MAV has an exciting pipeline of patent pending proprietary products to follow the market splash being made by its “Phoenician” grinder, already being sold by nearly 100 retail smoke shops across the US.
“Phoenician Engineering products are designed to define what we consider to be the medical-grade standard. We put our heads together and said we would make grinders and other devices with the strictest compliance and regulatory policies applicable to medical device manufacturers,” said Colton Dukat, COO of MAV. “I’ve worked in the aerospace industry my whole life,” adds Dane Dukat, Director of Engineering. Our Phoenician grinders are quite literally comparable in quality and tolerance to parts that go into space. We made a commitment not to sacrifice quality, innovation or domestic manufacturing in anything we create and the result speaks for itself – we simply can’t keep up with the demand.”
MAV’s founder Justin Cifelli adds, “At first we were worried about generating sales for such a high quality premium product, but the industry is excited about what we are doing. Many of our nearly 100 resellers across the country have already reordered and we need to expand manufacturing capacity. The amazing grinder line Dane Dukat designed is the tip of the iceberg for MAV; we are going to be a driving force in innovations in this industry. Products we have on deck for this burgeoning industry are game-changers for the agricultural growers to improve crop yields and quality.”
