Sacramento, CA – Oct. 27.2021 – Bay Area business operations executive, Theresa Bruno, Linkedin Profile and Sacramento Hip Hop artist and business owner Russell “Bueno” Osby have partnered to elevate and expand Hidden Treasure LLC, an established cannabis delivery service headquartered in Sacramento, CA since 2019 to the next level by expanding operations. Since taking over the business operations early in 2021 they have expanded their delivery footprint from Yuba City and Marysville into the greater Sacramento, Elk Grove and surrounding areas as well as Chico, Oroville, Gridley and El Dorado Hills to start. The collaboration between the two was an easy decision as they both had a common goal of giving back to the community by providing job training, internship opportunities, while advocating to break down the stigma that has been put on women and minorities that use cannabis for either recreational or medicinal purposes.
Theresa’s background consists of building teams around the world and running business operations for tech companies such as Mercury Interactive, Borland, Splunk, Acubed by Airbus and Okta in Silicon Valley for the last 27 years. Her experience and being one of the few working single mothers working alongside company executives gave her the training ground, tools and opportunity to build teams with a focus on inclusion and diversity and the platform to be able to mentor others in her field. She took a leap of faith in herself knowing there are few minority women cannabis owners and partners and decided to transition from corporate to the cannabis industry to create a business environment that would support empowering women and minorities by creating roles and opportunities in a thriving and essential business environment. Theresa was introduced to the medicinal benefits of cannabis after suffering with chronic back and nerve pain for the last 14 years which led to recent back surgery that did not correct the problem. She decided to stop taking high dosage pain and nerve medication in exchange for using CBD oil and cannabis medicinally to help her with the pain and her mobility. Theresa’s personal journey has also led her to learn about the mental health benefits of cannabis use and is an advocate of bringing awareness to mental health for all.
Russell “Bueno” Osby star athlete, college graduate (CRC, CSLA), business owner and Hip Hop artist also known around the world for his hit song 6AM feat. Bruno Mars has been focused on creating economic empowerment, educating and elevating the youth in his Meadowview neighborhood for over 2 decades. Russell, born and raised in the Capitol, has deep roots in the Sacramento area stemming from his family, friends, sports and local supporters and is a firm believer of teamwork and building dreams. He has been actively involved with coaching sports and community outreach around the Sacramento area and as far as Los Angeles and along the West Coast. Russell has collaborated with other local artists, athletes and business owners to showcase the entertainment and sports industries and have created opportunities for others to elevate themselves throughout the city of Sacramento. Russell continues to use his platform to educate the world of the culture, richness and the amazing community of people of Sac town and believes there is much more opportunity to be created.
