The company will host monthly networking events on the last Thursday of the month
July 24, 2018 – Grand Haven, Michigan – Seven months ago Cannabiz Connection announced the launch of its B2B networking and marketing platform for the cannabis industry. Now, Cannabiz Connection is announcing the launch of its networking event series for the top ten cities in Michigan.
Cannabiz Connection serves as a directory and business accelerator for cannabis startups, consultants and existing businesses. Cannabiz is launching its first networking events in Ann Arbor and Detroit with plans to expand to eight other cities by the end of the year including Grand Rapids, Lansing, Traverse City, Kalamazoo, Flint, Bay City and the Upper Peninsula.
Cannabiz Connection was created by Jamie Cooper-the first cannabis entrepreneur to be named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in West Michigan by the Grand Rapids Business Journal in 2018. The events create the opportunity for Cannabiz Connection members and the public to meet in person and develop key relationships.
“Over the last several months, the Cannabiz Connection platform has seen tremendous growth and we are actively helping people grow and build successful cannabis careers in Michigan,” said Jamie Cooper, Founder and CEO, Cannabiz Connection. “The networking event series is a natural next step for us, as the demand in the industry to meet the right contacts at the right time has increased. The networking event series will be held on the last Thursday of the month, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with the Detroit and Ann Arbor networking chapters kicking off its events July 26, 2018. Ticket prices will be $25 for early bird registration, then $35 the week prior to the event and at the door prices will be $40.
