Flint, Michigan, November 18th, 2020 – Bacco Farms, a medical dispensary out of Flint, Michigan, is opening their doors to recreational customers. Located on Dort Highway just off 475 between Pierson and Carpenter, the mother-daughter owned business was founded in the beginning of July in 2019 by women who know and understand the power of cannabis.
Bacco Farms was founded after Regina Momgaudas got into a serious car accident in 2012. She broke seven of her ribs and was in a lot of pain. But Regina is allergic to opioids and her doctors didn’t know how to treat her pain. The situation made her wonder what other people in her position were doing to cope with pain. After being solely a medical dispensary for over a year, Bacco Farms widened their customer base by going recreational the first week of October 2020. The recreational dispensary carries a variety of cannabis products from flower to concentrates to edibles.
Owner, Regina Momgaudas, has a vision for Bacco Farms to do as much outreach in the community as possible. They carry a “Flint First” mentality, meaning they want to hire within the community and give back to the City of Flint as much as possible. Bacco Farms is not just a dispensary, they also make it a priority to host events to inform the community on how different cannabis products can help them, ‘The reason we went recreational is to continue our mission of educating everyone regarding the efficacy of cannabis by providing knowledge and access to products that will help create homeostasis in their own body.’ Widening their customer base is allowing Bacco Farms to safely provide cannabis products and knowledge to all those over the age of 21 (or if you have a medical card, age 18).
Regina and daughter, Phoebe, strive to provide dedicated care, service, and top quality, premium grade marijuana products directly to their clients. They believe in the power and benefits of marijuana for all types of people that is clean, tested, and consistent. They use feedback from the patient community as well as their own experiences to make these decisions and to make improvements. Bacco Farms employees aim at educating patients about the medicinal benefits of cannabis. The budtenders will spend up to a half an hour training customers on which products to use and how to use them.
